The pagoda, located in the heart of the city, is one of its iconic symbols. In this project, we sought to preserve the traditional character of the special structure, but to give it contemporary and updated visual expression.
We created an impressive "video "mapping" on the pagoda's walls, combined water effects and through these, we illustrated the story of a young Chinese girl's journey in the village of Gubei and the many experiences she goes through before the area turned into "Little Tokyo" as it's known today.
The show has become the heart of the city and a favorite tourist attraction.
